Here are some more pictures of my sister's birthday dinner. These mushrooms were marinated over night in olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, garlic, parsley, and salt. They were delicious. I pan fried them just a bit in butter right before serving.
The pizza was perfect. Everyone said the crust was the best. The ingredients are simple: flour, olive oil, salt, and yeast. The secret? My bread maker. The bread maker worked on the dough for 1 1/2 hours. The dough was rolled out onto a pizza stone which was dusted with cornmeal.
I bet the marinated mushrooms would be great cut up and put on this pizza!
